KOBERSTEIN, Catherine Mary (Kay) (nee Fitzgerald). Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on 14 January, aged 97. Dearly loved wife of the late Albert (Al). Much loved mother of Warren and Carolyn, Vivien, Gerald and Cherry, Miles and Rebecca, Moira, and Basil and Jacquie. The way you lived your life was an example to us all. Your love and support will be with us always. Requiescat in Pace A rosary will be held at 6.30pm, Thursday 19 January, at St Michael's Catholic Church, Lake Road, Rotorua. Requiem Mass for Catherine will be held 11am, Friday 20 January, also at St Michael's Church. All correspondence to the Koberstein family c/- PO Box 926, Rotorua.

He was a member of John McDonogh Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3121. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Lorna Koberstein Parnell; three daughters, Janet Courtney, Maria and Nadine Gauthier; three sisters, Florence Dean, Laura Breaux and Agnes Droddy; and five grandchildren. A funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 West Bank Expressway, Harvey. Hey Terry - interesting last name there...not too common I would say! Our family resides in New Zealand. My grandparents are called George & Marion Koberstein (though sadly George is no longer with us and nana had just been diagnosed with Alzheimer's). They had 5 girls and 1 boy, all of whom have family's of their own.
