Donna Jean Koberstein Age 64, passed away on Aug. 6, 2013. She had been a department manager at Wal-Mart. She is survived by her husband Ronald Koberstein; sons Paul and Timothy Koberstein; and sister Florence Carry. She is also survived by two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Fibromyalgia Association

Donna Jean Koberstein, 64 1949-2013
Donna age 64, left us on Aug. 6 2013, to go home with her Lord. She was currently living with her husband Ron, and their two sons Paul and Timothy.
Donna was born to Jesse and Julia Tepley on Jan 7, 1949, in Staples, MN. She was raised there with three brothers and three sister. All but one of her immediate family members are with her now. Only one sister Florence Carry, is left here to grieve with us.
After Donna finished school she moved to Faribault, MN, to get a job at the State School there. This is where she met, fell in love, and married her husband Ron. They moved to Kenyon and lived in Cole’s Trailer Court prior to Ron joining the military. Then for several years they traveled all over and lived several different places. Ron and Donna were married for 45 years.
Donna’s most recent job, was as a department manager at a Walmart in Indianapolis, IN.,where she worked until her health conditions forced her to choose an early retirement.
Donna was kind and very tenderhearted. She loved all kinds of crafts, and she did them well. Her greatest joy in life were Jesus, her family, and her pets. She will be greatly missed.
Donna is survuved by her husband Ron, and their two sons Paul and Timothy Koberstein. Two grandchildren. One sister, Florence Carry. And many nieces and nephews. She also survived by her mother in-law, Eunice Stenbakken, and two sister-in-laws, Sandy (Greg) Amundson, and Julie (Jack) Hartin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two father in-laws, Ed Koberstein, and Marlin Stenbakken.
A private service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Fibromyalgia Association

Hello Terry, Well isn't it amazing, So what am I to you? Most of my things
are packed away. We are getting ready to move to Georgia. Right now I live
in Florida. So when we do sell our house, and move then I will unpack my
things, and see what else I can tell you. One thing you have written down is
that John Koberstein was married two times, well I never knew that. You see
I was brought up in Ft.Lauderdale Fla. and only got to see my grandma and pa
once in my life. I think I was about 6 then. And that was in Paynesville,
Minnesota. We never had much of a connection with any of our relatives.
Well, this is what I know, I don't know if this is the things you want to
know or not. But I'm telling you anyway. My mothers name was Cecelia Marie
Rajala, born in Hibbing Minnesota her parents were born in Finland. My
father was born March 21,1908 in Cortland Minnesota Parents Edward Koberstein
and Louise Fritz. And my father's name was Harrison Sylvester Koberstein. My
father was the second child of Edward and Louise. The first child was
Laverne Koberstein, She was married to Mr. Pemberton. No children. My dad
was married one time. He had 3 children Patricia ann Koberstein Kathleen Kay
Koberstein and Gerald Thomas Koberstein. Pat was born In Minneaoplis
Minneosta on Oct 11, 1937. She now lives in Edgewater Florida, Then Me,
Kathleen Kay Koberstein Born in Saginaw Michigan October 9, 1942, I live in
LadyLake Fla. till I move. Last but not least is the brat of the family,
Gerald Thomas Koberstein born July 3, 1945 in Saginaw Michigan. Lives in Ft.
Lauderdale Fla. Pat never married, Me I married Harold Schmidt, Had one son
Gary Lee Schmidt. Jerry is now divorced, and has 4 children Jerry Jr, who
has changed his last name to DeMarco, why I have no idea, then there is Tammy
Koberstein Debbie Koberstein and Michelle Koberstein. I will have to look up
birthdays and married names some time later, that's if you want them. All of
my dad's kids live in Florida, and all grandchildren do too. Well, that's

Forgot, My aunts married names are Ivy Garding, her husband's name was
Oliver. They all moved to California. Annette is the other girls name she
lives in Texas and has 12 kids. Mildred married a man names Earl Halverson.
They have 2 sons Earling who lives in Portland Ore. and I forgot the others
name, but he lives in Seattle Washington. Mildred lived in Spokane
Washington. Well thats all I can remember right now
