Patriarchal blessing given by Alfred A Hart upon the head of Juanita Jensen daugher of James Jensen adn Naomi (Phelps) Jensen, born in Montpelier, Idaho, April 9, 1929

Bloominton, Idaho
April 2, 1944

Juanita Jensen, by virtue of my calling as a patriarch, I place my hands upon your head according to your desire, and I bless you with health and strength that you may grow to maturity and fulfill the sacred mission of life to which you are assigned.

Your are born of goodly parents under the new and everlasting covenant.  You will fall heir to the gifts and graces of the everlating gospel.  You come through a choice line of ancestors, for you are of the house of Israel, through the choice lineage of Ephraim.  You are a chosen daughter in Israel, Our Heavenly Father is mindful of you.  His watched care has been over you from infancy.  You will seek Him for wisdom.  He will bless you with strength to carry out fully the purposes of life.  You will shun that which is evil.  The Holy Spirit will rest down upon you.  Your future steps will be guided aright.  You will be led into the paths of truth and righteourness.  I bless you the spirit of understanding.  You shall comprehend the plan of life and salvation.  You will be blessed with wisdom and with the spirit of discernment.  You will live to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of life.

In humility you shall walk before the Lord.  You will pray unto Him for the blessings which you are in need of day by day.  He will hear your prayers and you will feel the assurance in your soul that He is near; that he is able and willing to give you the necessary help which you are in need of.  I seal upon you the blessing of health and strength to carry out fully in life all that is required at your hands.  I bless you with courage and with happiness, that you shall not want for the necessary things of life; that you shall store your soul with treasures of heaven.  I seal you up unto eternal life, to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection.

I pronounce these blessing upon you through your faithfulness, and I do it by the power of the Holy Priesthood, and in the name of Jesus Christ.  Amen

Signed by Alfred A Hart

Letter written apparently from James Jensen on the event of Orin contracting Polio.  No date given.

Our dear Wanita Orin adn little Terry

I was so worried and terrified when I heard of your sorrow that I haven't been able to lift my head since.  Poor Mom has suffered as I know she took it like a shock.  We just can't understand why so much trouble had to come our way.  I am glad you are going as you are, an appeal to God in humble prayers is the only recourse we poor mortals have.

And Wan, you kids were trying so hard to make a place in the world for yourselves.  I was truly proud of you both.  But all I can say is "Don't give up the ship."  Smtime in the long journey you can look back and say that God was good.  In some way God will provide for you and a way will be opened.  Mom and Roger are really at work reading the Book of Mormon.  I lie awake listening till I fall asleep.  I want to quote a few lines that inspired me.  "God asks nothing of any man save He opens up a way for it to be accomplished."  There will be a "way opened up" for you.  Of that I am as sure as I live.  I can't tell what lies ahead, but my dear Wan, continue in prayer and light will come.  I know you all mourn deeply.  oth you and little Terry and Orin's suffering parents have a sore trial, and I pray God to bles you all.

Anything we can do, we shall only be glad to do it.  Mom and I never felt so helpless in our lives.  Poor Mom has told Dick and by now I am sure he knows.  Dick, Too, will exert his faith in pryer.  And a merciful god must still be in Heaven.  Our hearts bleed for you all the little relief that cam to Orin was heavenly joy to us and friends.

Keep on writing.  Hawley was up and spent the forenoon with us.  He sends you his hopes an blest wishes.  He is bac from the hospital you know he had a bad hernia.  But Hawley looks on the bright side and is always hopeful.

Roger was set apart as a priest and is dong well in his studies.  We are pleased withhis prsent school work.

We thing you every minute
Our love to you all
Dad

Give our best regards to Mr. and Mrs. Koberstein

Note:  Not date was written on the letter but a rough idea can be suspected from Roger who was set apart as a Priest, which is usually very soon after their 16th birthday.  Roger's 16th birthday was January 17, 1950.  Since Orin died Feburary 15, 1951, it is clear this letter was written probably soon after Polio was diagnosed properly.

Story written by Juanita Jensen who was 16 year old, so therefore the date would be after April 9, 1945.

Starting a Model T Ford
If you plan on going anywhere in a personally owned Model T Ford, start preparations about five hours before time.

First you heat five gallons of water to the boiling point and put three gallons into the old, leaky radiator.  You save the other two gallons to put in if you should be able to get the rattletrap started - because, you see, in the meantime at least two gallons will have leaked out.

You then jack up the left hind wheel and begin to crank.  You crank until perspiration is running madly down your face and the corners of your mouth are turned down in complete despair and you resort to strong language.

In great perplexity you take off your coat and think of the many things that may be wrong with the old car - perhaps the carburetor needs adjusting or maybe the spark plugs need cleaning.

After you have cooled down a bit you call for little brother to come help you.  Little brother is supposed to pull the spark down, but in his great anxiety he pushes it up and, therefore, the Model T kicks you like an Arkansas mule on its day off.

Without further hesitation you hurry to the house, as angry as a Brahma bull and ask for the family car.

Starting a Model T Ford has a bad effect on your English and leaves you a physical wreck.  - Juanita Jensen, 16, Bingham county, Idaho. (Prize winer.)

Ray Koberstine - Manager
It was January of 1993 when Ray became the resident engineer for R.C. Worst & Co.'s wholesale outlet in Spokane. Working closely with regional engineers on large, engineered lift, booster and treatment systems provided him the well rounded experience he needed to take over the management duties of this location in 2005. The reliable design of these complex, packaged systems keeps Ray's crew busy and considered the premier source for such products in the Inland Empire. Directing customers in the development of these systems and being recognized as the authority of said systems in our area is a great source of gratification for Ray and his team.
R.C. Worst & Co. is the leader in the Inland Northwest when it comes to on-site wastewater systems, pumps, pumping systems, package pump systems and control systems for the residential, municipal, water, wastewater, sewage, industrial, and construction industry. Expect the best from R.C. Worst & Co.
