FARIBAULT - Ruth L. (Mrs. Abner) Wunderlich, age 83, of Faribault, died on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at the St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault.
Services will be at Hope Methodist Church, Faribault, on Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Roger Grafenstein officiating. Interment will be in Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault, on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, from 4 to 7 p.m. and also in the church for one hour prior to the services on Monday. A memorial service by the Eagles Auxiliary #1460 will be conducted in the funeral home on Sunday at 6 p.m.
Ruth Louise, the daughter of Herman and Elsie Koberstein, was born April 6, 1923, in Faribault. She graduated from Faribault High School in 1941. On Dec. 8, 1944, she married Abner Wunderlich at Faribault. He preceded her in death on April 19, 1991.She is survived by five children, LaVonne (and Joel) Wing of Cold Spring, Delores Boyer (and Ken Duchene) of Aitkin, Sandra (and Jim Naughton) of Aitkin, Joel Wunderlich of Faribault and Wendy (and Bill) Erie of Crosslake; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Abner; one sister; four brothers; and a great-grandchild.
