From Tanta Anna's letter:
- Occupation Gutsherschaftlicher Wirtschaftler (laborer, working for someone else)
- Also had 2 sons not related to Paul and the other natural brother and sister
- Friederich and his wife Welhelmine moved to Ketschendorf, Furstenwalde (date unknown) and opened a vegetable store. They had a parrot in the store that would announce customers with spitzbuben! (thief!)
- Friederich sold the store and got work in a small wool factory. He never remarried.
- Went to his son Paul's family for dinner on every Sunday.
- Was always well dressed with a dark suit, bowler and cane.
- He worked until he was 80 years old at the wool factory.
- Friederich then moved in with his son Paul's family and inspite of his age, was a very good help.
- He also tended bees and had many hives. He also had a patent for waben???ipper. His bee business was admired in the area and others wanted to copy him.
- In his spare time he wove baskets and caned chairs for spare money.
- Moved to Gross Eicholz and died abt. 1933
