Terry... I am still searching for father's name of Ernst Whilhelm Koberstein. I got his death certificate. It states his mother's name as Minnie Fricka and his father's name as ----Koberstein. I sent for his brother, Henry Koberstein's death certificate (born 1844 Died 1923) it states his mother's name as Mary Fricke (also born in Germany) and his father's name as H. Koberstein. I'm stymied. If I find out any thing additional I will let you know... Mary Alice

The Hastings, NE. City Directory 1888 has a Gustav Koberstein listed as a
brewer. Ernst was a stockholder in the Hastings Brewery. I suspect they were
brothers, but I'm not sure.
