What you don't see is something that makes some visitors...a little uneasy. Tammi and Dale Reddick of Jerome stopped on their way to go hunting. There is actually a sign on the door to make you aware of the cameras in the common area only - where the sinks, mirrors and trash bins are. “The sinks the soap dispensers the mirrors on the wall ... things of those nature we've had toilets totally tore off the floor. Whatever people can get their hands around and destroy it seems like it's open season in this bathroom right here,” said New Meadows Mayor Tony Koberstein. Mayor Koberstein says the damage tops $10,000. “We're talking about taxpayer dollars here. We in no way want to spy on anybody's privacy. These cameras that are installed in here are focused on the common areas only,” said Mayor Koberstein. |
