83 Ephrata seniors share $474,000 in scholarships. Eighty-three Ephrata High School seniors split $474,000 as recipients of the 1996 J. Harry Hibshman Scholarship Awards during ceremonies held last night in the high school auditorium. The one- two-, three-, and four-year scholarships are worth $1,500 annually, and are just a portion of the more than $800,000 in cash, grants, scholarships, and savings bonds won by Ephrata's graduating class. In addition, 93 seniors also won scholarships ranging from $750-$1,000 annually for four years from the William F. Brossman Family Charitable Trust. Also, nine studnets won grants of up to $500 annually for four years from the Alfred Wolf Fund for Education and five others won four-year awards of up to $1,250 from The Gertrude and Clarence Mellinger Scholarship fund. Adrian Klopp earned the most honors this year, walking away with 15 community and school-based scholarships and awards. Klopp will be one of four valedictorians at tonight's commencement ceremonies. It will possibly be the first time Ephrata has ever had four "straight A" students graduating with 4.0 grade point averages. Award winners for the Ephrata High School class of 1996 are: Two-year recipients: Michael Bell, Laura Koberstein, Bobby Miller, Emily Muehling, Toby Peters, and Daniel Srock. William F.
