PRINCETON, Ind. — At the precipice of another season, the Princeton Tigers don’t need to dig too deep into their bag for motivation. They simply have to remember last fall.

The Tigers won back-to-back postseason games and finished as the Class 3A Sectional 30 runners-up after going just 1-8 in the regular season. They got healthy, came together and paid attention to detail, learning hard work tends to yield positive results.

Senior Joe Koberstein added: “It gave us the drive to work harder so we can get back to the sectional championship and win it next time. Just finish stronger this year.”
...
“It means everything,” Koberstein said. “I’ve been waiting for my senior year my entire life because all my brothers played football, so it’s something I’ve looked forward to forever.”
...
Koberstein is a three-year starter at middle linebacker and led the team with 96 tackles last year. He’ll be at the center of what’s expected to be an improved defense — a key to winning more, considering they were outscored by roughly three touchdowns per game.
