Gustavo Koberstein, native of Brasilia, Federal District, initiated his studies musicals in the School of Music of Brasilia where studied Sweet Flute, Violin and Piano.He Graduate in bassoon in the year de1996 in the University of Brasilia where he studied with Hary Schweizer; He also studied composition with Luiz Mucilo.Participated of the Young Composers group carrying out concerts with unpublished works in Brasilia and Goiânia. He participated at Festivals in Curitiba, Brasilia, Juiz de Fora and Itú, and took conducting classes learning with Roberto Duarte, Dante Anzolini, Alfonso Pollard, Sea Fields, Carlos Giraudo, Miguel Gilardi and Osvaldo Blacksmith. Bassoon with Christmas Devos, Helman Jung, Alan Lacour, Aloísio Fagerlande and Afonso Venturieri. As the photographer acted beside Elza Kazuko Gushikem, Beatriz I Castrate, Beatriz Salles, Vaclav Vinecky, between others. Gustavo Koberstein taught in the Festival of Rattlesnake. He was a substitute Professor of the University of Goiás and is a teacher at the Brasilia Music School. As a teacher he was the assistant to the communal Symphonic Chorus of the UnB, was teacher of the Coral of Students of the Department of Music of the UnB, was assistant of the Young Orchestra of Brasilia. Was first basoon player of the Orchestra of the UnB, of the Philharmonic one of Goiás of the Symphonic one of the Paraná and of the Brazilian chamber orchestra in Curitiba. At present is Bassoon-soloist of the symphony orchestra of the National Theater Cláudio Santoro.

GUSTAVO KOBERSTEIN, fagote

Gustavo Koberstein, born in Brasilia, DF, graduated with a B.A. in Bassoon in 1996 at the University of Brasília where he studied with Hary Schweizer; he also received training in composition and conducting. As a student he had a strong presence in Festivals and Music workshops. More recently, as professor, he has had contact with important figures in the bassoon, composition and conducting areas. He has participated in various chamber music projects and was professor of the School of Music of Brasília and substitute professor at the University of Goiás. As conductor he was assistant for the Symphonic Community Choir of the UnB, assistant-conductor for the Youth Orchestra of Brasília. He was first bassoonist for the UnB Orchestra, the Goiás Philharmonic, the Paraná Symphony and the Brazilian Chamber Orchestra in Curitiba. He is currently bassoonist for the Symphonic Orchestra of the Cláudio Santoro National Theater.
