| 1603 | Michel Koberstein married Susanna Kleinschnitz at Heidelberg. |
| 1625 | Elisabeth Coberstein born (died aft. 1676) Father: Andreas, Mother: Anna Wick. |
| 1645 (abt.) | Elisabeth Coberstein married Johann Balthasar Bloss at Gronau, Odenwald, Germany |
| 1655 | Anna Margretha Koberstain born, father Hanns Koberstain and mother Anna Maria Knostlin. |
1653 marr. |
Found another noble Junker family: Georg Gerhardt Von Koppenstein married to Elisabeth Von Schmidburg with ten children: 1) Wollffgang Friedrich Von Koppenstein-1654, 2) Sibilla Rosina Von Koppenstein-1656, 3) Maria Elisabetha Von Koppenstein-1659, 4) Anna Maria Von Koppenstein-1661, 5) Catharina Judit Von Koppenstein-1663, 6) Carolus Otto Von Koppenstein-1665, 7) Georg Wilhelm Von Koppenstein-1667, 8) Ernestus Matthias Von Koppenstein-1669, 9) Christianus Damian Hugo Von Koppenstein-1671, 10) Anna Julianna Von Koppenstein-1674. They were all christened in Dill or Kirchberg, Kries Simmern in Rheinland, Prussia. |
| 1671 | Matys Matthias Koberstein in Czarnkow, Posen, Prussia |
| 1682 | Adam, Friedrich Von Kopperstein married to Anna Von Kesler? At Dill Germany Simmern Castle (Est. birth 1660) 1701 - Adam’s son Hans Jacob Koberstein born at Neckarwestheim (This son immigrated to Pennsylvania) 1705 - Adam’s daughter Anna Katharina Coberstein born at Neckarwestheim |
| 1689 (abt.) | Arnold Kappenstein married Elizabeth Vierbuchen in 1708 at Oberwarnsbach, Rheinland (wife born in 1689). Arnold is contemporaneous with Adam (above) and may be brothers due to the close birth years. There is also a Joes Tilmannus Kappenstein married to Anna Catharina Ex Pago with daughter Anna Elisabeta Kappenstein born 1707, son Joannes Simon Kappenstein born 1709 and unnamed daughter in 1713 all at Morsbach, Rheinland, Prussia. He must be related but how is unknown. |
There are 18 years between Adam’s marriage and first known birth, leaving lots of room for other children. Christian is possibly one of these.
We start this century with Michel and Susanna Koberstein of Heidelberg with probable connections to Ecuharius Koberstein.
Then unconnected Elisabeth Coberstein.
I also found the noble Junker family of Georg Gerhardt Von Koppenstein. At one time I would not have noy considered this variation of Koberstein valid, but the connnection of the Hans Jacob Koberstein (mid 1700's immigrate to Pennsylvania) to his father Adam, Friedrich Von Kopperstein destroyed that idea. Koppenstein is not that far from Kopperstein, and in fact are just phonetic variations.
This family is from Kirchberg in Rheinland. Here is a photo of the current Kirchberg town hall and marketplace.

Next in this century we see Koberstein families in Posen, with Matys Matthias Koberstein sandwiched inbetween the two noble familes Georg before and Adam after.
This family is from Czarnkow, Posen, Prussia. Here is a photo of the district administrative offices.

The last entry in the 17th century is another finding with a variation name of Kappenstein. Note They are from Oberwambach (the more probable location as it is near Altenkirchen and in Rheinland). But if it is actually Oberwarnsbach it is closer to the other location mentioned with this family, Morsbach.
